About the Author

I am a 26 year-old husband who married way out of his league, the father of a beautiful daughter, and a high school teacher (English and Theology) who wants desperately to find ways to share the beauty of the Catholic faith. If you have requests for blog topics, please feel free to leave them in the comments section of this page. Thanks for reading, and keep my family and me in your prayers.

I`m not sure if my initial comment went through or not. Please forgive me if this is a duplicate…
I`d love to read a blog of yours regarding the restriction of women having all the rights to become clergy as men in the Catholic Church. (perhaps I am not using all the correct terms, but you get the point I`m sure) I wonder if becoming a father, specifically of a daughter, has challenged your support of the Catholic Church`s stance? Do you not want her to have all the same rights in the church you love so much? Do you think she is less worthy or able to serve the Church due to her gender? These are more rhetorical questions as I do not believe you answer would be “no” to either one. That being the case, I would love to have a blog addressing and explaining the Church`s reasoning, and your personal support of them. I love the passion with which you write about the church and your ability to make logical real life connections. I look forward to hearign your thoughts on this.

    Thank you!

I don’t even know your name, but I’ve read some pieces a good friend sent me about this blog and I’ve found them really interesting, specially that strong point of the beauty of Christianism or Catholicism, as you prefer. I was just willing to share that with you and the blog I’m starting to build, which expects to be a book someday. It’s funny cause we have both chosen an image with a sun.
I don’t expect you to understand it cause it’s in Spanish, Cause I’m from Argentina and I live in Buenos Aires. But If someday, we have the chance to meet each other, at least now we are in contact.
I hope to keep reading more.
    Regards from the southern south.

I stumbled across your blog recently. Very well written!

I have a blog myself: http://amaninthegap.blogspot.com/. Just wanted to let you know I re-blogged one of your recent posts that I found to be very insightful.

I hope you’ll check out my blog and share some of my stuff too. I think we have similar, shall we say, observations of the world.
