The Death of “It’s Not The Heat…”

Lately, I’ve been thinking of a homily I heard a few years ago. It is the only homily I have ever memorized in it’s entirety. I’ve transcribed the whole thing below:

“Today, it is hot. Really hot. Almost unbearably hot. Let us always remember how much hotter the fires of hell must be.”
